What is Truth? I asked a couple of weeks ago, in the context of the Censorship-Industrial Complex. I answered it by gathering and sharing information about the legal case of Murthy v Missouri. But I made a lot of assumptions. I want to be clearer. So, today, we’re back to truth again. I begin by sharing different perspectives on truth from the human information behavior, information literacy, systems, and journalism fields. I explain truthiness, wikiality that originated in The Colbert Report, and the TruthLit and TruthiLit categories I developed to help us - content users, consumers, and creators - distinguish misinformation from disinformation. I bring truth back in a post-truth era and also some good humor!
